Apostolos Zormpas

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University Observatory of the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich in the group of Prof. Dr. Til Birnstiel. I graduated in 2018 with a master's degree in physics from the LMU where I finished my Master's Thesis in the group of Prof. Dr. Barbara Ercolano. My main research focus is on disk population synthesis and planet formation by pebble accretion. I am also part of the Research Unit 'Planet Formation Witnesses and Probes: Transition Disks' (FOR 2634/1) recently established by the German Research Foundation.
